Keith Munday

Successful power industry executive with 44 years of experience in leading change within the industry using his deep and broad understanding of the industry. His most recent achievement was as the founder of Bryt Energy a very successful zero carbon non-domestic Supply business addressing the difficult issue of climate change through leadership by example (first carbon neutral supplier), innovation around distributed energy (batteries, flexibility, creative use of smart meters, etc) and operational excellence.

He is a partner in the VERA Group which supports entrepreneurs driving this change in the energy markets.

Dave Cave

Dave has worked in and around the power industry, in the UK and overseas, in senior positions of different kinds. He was Head of Electricity Trading at PowerGen before becoming Commercial Director at Yallourn Energy in Australia, founding the trading and retail businesses in the newly privatised Australian market.

He was then a co-founder and chairman of BizzEnergy, a company that became the largest independent electricity supplier in the UK. He later became chairman of Bryt Energy, a supply company concentrating wholly on renewables which became the fastest-growing supply company in the UK.

He is on the board of a number of different companies and regularly advises others in the power industry. He has worked on battery roll-out and development for many years and joins LDES at a critical time for the sector and for the 2030 net-zero target.

Sally Barrett-Williams

Sally has worked as a lawyer in energy in the UK and overseas. She held senior positions in a major energy company, in Ofgem and ORR. She returned to private practice as a partner in an international law firm. She subsequently established her own practice, EnergyLaw@Lansdown Chambers: www.energylawuk.com and advises law firms and companies in the energy sector.

She became involved in renewable energy in 2002 and co-founded the Carbon Catalysts Group, specialising in renewable energy projects. She was a founder member and Chair of the Energy & Utility Forum, a body focussed on energy policy which brought together senior energy industry executives and politicians.

She has worked with most technologies and project types for debt-financed and equity-financed projects. She works both as an advisor and as a joint venture partner.

Andrew Buglass

Andrew has been focused exclusively on the energy sector since 1992, delivering over £11bn of energy investment across 30 countries. He has headed award-winning project finance teams at several international banks and project developers.

He founded consultancy practice Buglass Energy Advisory in 2014 to support investors, government bodies, and other consultancies with strategic and commercial advice. Recent client assignments have included investment in Smart Local Energy Systems; developing investable low carbon hydrogen business models; managing stranded asset risk for multilateral financial institutions; and commercialisation of various innovative technologies for the energy transition.

He also serves as Non-Executive Director and Chair to a number of electricity sector companies in the UK and internationally.
